Q:  What sets etaxresolution.com apart from other providers?

A:  etaxresolution.com does not use Form 4506-T like many other providers to request transcripts from the IRS.  We utilize an official Power of Attorney that is filed with the IRS.  The Power of Attorney allows us to not only retrieve items quicker than a 4506-T, it also allows access to a broader range of information and services.

Q:  How long does it take to get the transcripts?

A:  Transcripts can be delivered in as little as one business day if the proper information is provided during purchase.  If information such as adjusted gross income is unavailable then the process will usually take three to five business days.

Q:  How are the transcripts requested?

A:  We file a Power of Attorney authorization form with the IRS, which is signed during the purchase process.  Once the Power of Attorney is processed, transcripts are requested and downloaded electronically directly from the IRS.

Q:  How will the transcripts be delivered?

A:  You will receive notification by email when the transcripts or other information is available.  After logging in and completing a verification question the transcripts will be available for download in PDF format.

Q:  What is the advantage of using a Power of Attorney versus Form 4506-T?

A:  Unlike Form 4506-T, the Power of Attorney allows us to request and receive transcripts from the IRS immediately on demand.  Form 4506-T is utilized by third-party agents who are just passing along the order form to the IRS.  The Power of Attorney also provides etaxresolution.com access to a wider range of transcripts than the 4506-T.
